Made for Excellence (MFE)

"Survivor!"
Made for Excellence (MFE) is the second component in the National FFA Leadership and Personal Growth Series.  It is a two-day personal development conference designed primarily for high school freshman and  sophomores.

The overall outcome of this conference is personal growth. The personal growth occurs through building student confidence and competence. Students build confidence as they define how to live a life of excellence by building a foundation of talents, skills and will power to persevere. Students build competence as they learn content related to the subject of personal growth. The individual should leave ready to think about how to begin living a life of excellence that will set them up for a transition into the discovery of premiere leadership.

Advanced Leadership Development (ALD)

"Rock Star - Standing Room Only!"
The Advanced Leadership Development (ALD) conference is the third component of the National FFA Leadership and Personal Growth Series building upon the curriculum of both EDGE and MFE.  It offers an experience specifically for high school juniors and seniors.  During the conference students will explore the wide variety of careers available in the field of agriculture. Students will learn how best to prepare for their future careers whether through hands-on experience or advanced education, while polishing their leadership and communications skills. Participants will then generate ideas on  how to utilize their leadership skills in community service and volunteerism efforts.
